$25,000 for PAC4Life! Childrens’ portrait coffee table book

That’s right.  We have pledged to raise $25,000.00 for a local grass roots charity called PAC 4 Life; Prepare a Child for Life.

Trish, myself and the studio are very involved with babies and children along with others who help in all sorts of ways.  Not only do we photograph many from Bellies to actual Births to all ages, but we are involved with Big Brothers and Sisters, and Trish is also a “Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep” and “Little Heroes” Photographer.

Along the way we have met some incredible people, but none like Wayne and Rosanne Prevett of Kettle Creek Weddings.  We have known him since he started his business in St. Thomas and he even married Trish and I five years ago at our New Year’s Eve wedding.  Last year, when he turned 49, he made a list of goals called 50 b4 50.  He accomplished all but two.  Not bad for an old guy.  One that stuck out to us was his goal to start up a registered Charity to help local children prepare for life.  In his words, while working with local underprivileged children, “We soon began to realize that is was not just low income families that needed support it was the “working poor” who were struggling to see their children develop a well rounded growing up experience.  Having our own newborn we became aware of how costly sports memberships were, how tutoring costs were beyond the average family, camp for a week would not be possible for most Canadian families.”

So how can a photography studio raise $25,000.00 and help PAC4Life?

We are proud to announce a project that will do just that and everyone can be involved.  Custom Concept Photography is producing a limited edition, production run coffee table portrait book featuring children from newborn to 15 years of age.  This beautiful hard covered book will be 10″x 10″ and filled with individual portraits of local children with their first name and a short description of what makes them who they are.  It will be named “Kids of Southern Ontario: Faces of a Generation”.  As the name implies the children have to be from Southern Ontario which is a big area so we have set the boundaries for this book to be Toronto to the Windsor border.  We want to photograph 250 children for the book.  So please help us spread the word by forwarding this on to everyone you know with children.  If you’re on facebook I urge you to join our Kids Of Southern Ontario “Like Page” and invite all your friends to join.  Together we can develop awareness for this charity and raise $25,000.00.

Here’s how it works.

We’re looking for everyday kids to appear in a collectors’ edition coffee table book titled “Kids of Southern Ontario: Faces of a Generation”.

This book will be full of emotive images created in the studio and on location around Southern Ontario by Master Photographic Artist, Trish Roberts of Custom Concept Photography.

To have your child included in this exciting project, simply requires the completion of the registration form and a payment of $85 per child session fee. Proceeds will go to PAC4Life Charity (Prepare a Child for Life) www.pac4life.ca

THAT’S RIGHT.  WE’RE DONATING A MAJOR PORTION OF OUR SITTING FEES TO PAC4LIFE
