London Ontario Newborn Photography

At Custom Concept Photography, Ingersoll On., we try to do a portrait consultation before all our photography sessions.  During the consultation we discuss a lot of things, but one of the parts I love is how to make your session more meaningful by incorporating items or places that represent the subjects.  Below our SUBJECT  is a Baby!!  Easy, right?  Lets go further…His name is Koston.  Named after the famous Skate Boarder, Eric Koston.  (That’s a good start)  Eric Koston is also a partner in Girl Skateboard Co. and they have a deck that was inspired by the beloved children’s story book, “Where The Wild Things Are” (Coming together now?) And on the board is Koston’s name!  Look at the second image on the bottom right side corner just above Koston’s bum.  Now you’re getting it.   But wait, there are headphones too??  Sennheiser in fact.  A very good name in headphones.  Perhaps baby Koston is a Music fan?  …No Doubt.

WHY the Skateboard?  Why the Headphones?  Easy.  As I mentioned earlier, we try to incorporate personable items to produce a more meaningful image.

Koston’s Dad got right into the photo session and as it turns out he is a huge fan of Eric Koston (fan enough to name his son after him), plays guitar in a band and is a music fan.  That simple.  But the results are fabulous and being a music fan/audiophile myself, I wish we had come up with an idea like this for our boys.  I absolutely love it.

Great work Jay and Lisa with adding your personal touch to the photo session.  I am sure the 20×24 custom framed print of Koston wearing the Sennheiser headphones looks great in his bedroom.
