We hear the words “Lifestyle Photography” and it brings different images to mind. In fact there are some in a lifestyle that are really chuckling as they read this just because of the name, “Lifestyle Photography” and you know who you are. But the pure essence of “Lifestyle Photography”, to me, is about capturing an individual or couple in their element. Enjoying what they love when they have their personal alone time. Whether it be hiking, golfing, pottery, running, playing an instrument, boating , flying or cycling, the list is endless, and I believe it is quite often the time when someone is most at peace and can be themselves. Work, friends and family have no influence and it’s just you and your Passion.
Adam is not a famous cyclist. He is not known on the Ontario race circuit or even known locally. But within his home their are magazines on cycling and brochures on bicycles. He is glued to the television while the Tour de France is running and even at social events I would bet that at some point the mention of cycling arises. His bicycle is not your average bicycle like you or I probably bought at a chain store and his Life Style is his. Adam makes a point of being on his bicycle every day to hit the Open Road for at least an hour or more a night when he gets home from work, and on weekends it is even more. (And I’m sure when he is at work, that in his mind, he is working while on his bike.) His hour is not like our hour. I’m sure he manages to pound out at least 35 km an hour. In fact he once told me that he can hit speeds of up to 75km/h on a hill. His passion is for hearing the crackling grit under his tread less race tires. To set a line into a corner and to not waver what ever the speed, and to constantly improve himself by pushing harder and harder. This is Adam, this is his Lifestyle and these are the images Trish Roberts, of Custom Concept Photography, created after spending a fun and exhilarating sunset ride and an early morning run (in our car at times) with Adam in the country near Woodstock, Ontario. Thanks for sharing your passion with us. It was great to hear your bike, and the air, swish by us as we photographed at the side of the road as you passed by. I especially wont forget Trish shooting out the back window of our Escape as you chased us down one of those fast hills.
If you would like Trish to capture your Lifestyle with her camera, art and style, no mater what your passion is, please do not hesitate to call Custom Concept Photography and talk to us about what you love to do.
