It’s true, it’s not fair, but it’s true.  People judge a book by its cover and they are going to judge whether they will work with you in a split second by your first impression.

So many times while leafing through the local papers I see pictures of business people in our community taken at the paper office against a plain wall with very unflattering lighting with terrible shadows behind them.

This type of image tells the public that you settle for sub-standard work which makes the public think that maybe the work you do is not up to par.

The fact is if you call yourself a professional and and you command professional dollars, you should have a professional portrait done by a professional photographer. (that’s a lot of professionals)

In February we did our annul Pet Day with all session fees going to Animal Love foundation of London.  Once a year we offer our clients an alternative to pet store photography and open our portrait studio to the dogs.

This year we took a different approach to the portraits.  All were photographed in a high key style and processed Black and White to give a more art feel to them.

I would like to thank all that came out and supported a great cause.  If you are interested in adopting a pet don’t hesitate to call the Animal Love Foundation.  We raised $300+ and 10 bags of much needed dog food.

Wondering what to do with the kids during March Break?  Fun with Bunnies is back.

This is our most popular special.  The kids just love playing with the bunnies while having their portrait taken for Easter.

This year we are doing it for three days during the week and we have just added Saturday morning.

Call the studio to book in your kids to have fun over the holidays.  Last years set was so popular that we will be repeating it but with a different back ground colour.

Dog Days is back!

Call the studio to sign up. We’re doing things a little different this year. We want to take it up a notch and produce more Art like Dog portraits. For this reason they will be Black and White and all shot High Key (White back ground). By photographing your dog this way we can focus on your dog’s personality instead of being distracted by the surroundings.
