Talbot Creek Midwives

On April 17, 2010, Trish had the honour of photographing the birth of Kristy and Chris’ son, Thomas Clarke.  Kristy and Chris are 2008 wedding clients (married at the McMichael Gallery) that we love and were thrilled when they asked Trish to do her Bellies and Babies sessions with them (coming soon to the blog).  We suggested they consider Birth Photography also to fully capture the whole experience from Maternity to Delivery to Newborn  photos.  They now have an incredible coffee table book of their delivery to compliment their wedding album that have both recorded the beginnings of their  new family legacy.  With all that goes on during a birth, an album like this truly captures the emotions involved.  You can’t help but feel the love and pain both Chris and Kristy felt during her very long labour and delivery of Thomas.

Kristy and Chris choose to use the services of the Talbot Creek Midwives and did the delivery at the St. Thomas Hospital.  Their midwife was Janet along with Student Midwife, Kate.

I have to mention, Trish and I used the services of the Stratford Midwives for both of our boy’s deliveries.  It is a great experience and the pre-delivery and follow up care is remarkable.
