Every Mom has her own “Birth Story”. For me, the memory that will always remain is the smell of burgers and fries. You see, a good friend of ours delivered dinner to us at the hospital, and between contractions, my husband was enjoying his dinner before it got cold. I’m sure it was the smell that coaxed Sterling, our carnivore, out. To this day he loves his burger and fries! Funny that wedding clients of ours, that own the Stratford Boston Pizza, kept the tradition alive and sent 4 pizzas for Tristan’s birth to the hospital when they heard we were enroute. Fortunately, Tristan arrived before the Pizzas did so I got to enjoy a warm dinner. Tristan must have smelled the pizzas coming down the hall!
Kim, it’s hard to believe that 7 months has past since I photographed the debut of your twins, Callum and Ava, April 6, 2009. I thought I would share with our Custom Concept Photography family the precious images from their “birth story” that I was invited to capture. Here are the pages from the album Custom Concept Photography created for them to look back on during their lives. I can’t wait to photograph Ava and Callum next week.
Thank you for allowing me to record your “Birth Story”. I’m sure you will fondly remember Andrew texting to keep the family up to date during the delivery.
Your Ontario Birth Photographer,
Trish

Beautiful. It almost makes me want to have another baby, just to get an opportunity to have the experience photographed. (Almost.) I can honestly say my birth experiences are a complete blur. To have this sort of photo journalistic style memory of the experience would be amazing.
I weep every time I look at these. I am sure they will be cherished forever.Trish you have a way of capturing all of the SPECIAL MOMENTS! BRAVO!
These are great! I could not think of anyone else to photograph such an amazing event in a family’s life. Trish and Trevor do AMAZING work!
