Saturday morning Trish and I were getting ready for the Outdoor Christmas Card Photo Day. We were in the studio packing up gear; camera, tripod, flashes, etc. Tristan, our 7 month old, was on the floor and we had some studio lights on. We turned around and there was Sterling, our almost 3 year old, on a ladder pretending to take pictures of Tristan with his Dora the Explorer camera, pretending to be a photographer, pretending to be his MOM. Sterling loves his mom and says he is going to be a photographer. Luckily we managed to get some photos of him in action as he changed cameras. I think a couple look like those profile pictures of famous photographers you see all the time with their cameras. Of course Sterling loves his Dora the Explorer camera, his Kodak Brownie, his Canon A1 and Polaroid Land Camera Automatic 210. You can guess which cameras are from our collection.
Enjoy the photos, Trevor.

What a wee “man.” He is growing up so fast, and already eyeballing Mom’s kingdom! Giving a child a camera is pure fun. Seeing the world from their eyes when you help them download the images is entertaining. I can’t wait to see his images one day soon!
