Men can fall into all sorts of categories and I wont attempt to list them all but I can tell you that Eric falls into two that go together quite well.  He’s a romantic and a car guy and it could not be more evident in their engagement and engagement session.  They fell in love after being introduced by friends at a birthday party in 2006.  On a trip to Puerto Vallarta Mexico in 2008 Eric planned a sunset dinner on a cliff side restaurant, Le Kliff.  You see, they had been there before and loved the gardens  and watching the spectacular sunsets over the ocean.  Naturally to a romantic like Eric, it was important to do the proposal at sunset.  All was very calm and quiet as the guests at the restaurant watched the infamous sunset.  As the sun started to caress  the ocean the words that came from Eric were distracting enough that when Wendie realized that Eric was asking her to spend the rest of her life with him that she screamed.  A scream that could be heard throughout the restaurant and as the name of the restaurant implies, it is on a cliff over looking the ocean.  And as you can imagine Wendie produced quiet at stir, with most of the patrons thinking she had fallen over into the ocean.  Such a stir that most patrons that night, including themselves, missed the sunset altogether.

If you’re wonder where the old Ford comes in, well to a car guy like me, the fifties was a romantic car time and when you drive a car like that, there is some thing in your soul that is part of that era.  Eric is lucky to have two passions in his life, one is Wendie and the other is his pristine 50’s Ford (which I think Wendie has grown to love too).  We had a great time at the Distillery District (Wendie love architecture) and a random back alley in Toronto with  the two of you capturing both your loves.
