When I asked Rebecca and Gene how they met it was quite simply.  They both answered at the same time, “At work!”.  Gene, grinning ear to  ear, further stated that he asked Rebecca to coffee and that was the beginning of their romance.  So it was pretty easy to decide we had to do their engagement photos at the cafe across the street from our studio.  “The Olde Bakery Cafe” in Ingersoll is located in a hundred year old building that used to be the home of the famous Zubriggs Bakery so we have given the first image a vintage feel.  Here are some of my favourite picture from their session with Trish.  Have a great time at your wedding!

Unfortunately Trish couldn’t shoot their wedding due to the fact that their wedding is on April 3 and we are due to have baby Tristan April 1.

Soon after I posted this story and images I received this email from Rebecca.  I though I would share it with you.

“I love it!!!! You did a great job!  It looks awesome. The funny thing is, I didn’t realize that cafe was the old zurbrigg’s. That was my favourite place growing up….we would always order our b-day cakes there and they would give me a cookie when I went in! Looks really good. Let me know when the pics are ready.
